Montclarion II Hearing Date Rescheduled to May 12

The plan to build a 40-unit mixed unit on Pine Street was previously scheduled to be heard in April.

The public hearing on the application from Bloomfield Associates for Montclarion II, a 40-unit mixed use building at 10 Pine St. has been rescheduled from April 14 to May 12, according to the township

The April 14 meeting has been canceled because of the Passover holiday.

The May 12 hearing will take place in council chambers at 205 Claremont Ave. as part the regular planning board meeting. There will be an opportunity for public questions and comment.

The building is proposed to front the north side of Bloomfield Avenue, just west of the Shell gas station at the corner of Bloomfield Avenue and Pine Street. It will contain 40 new residential units and 1,419 square feet of retail space and will be five stories and 67 feet in height, according to the township. Parking will be provided on two levels, with the lower level partially underground.
