School of Rock Montclair will welcome David Marchese, Senior Editor at SPIN.com, as a guest lecturer on Wednesday, August 14 and Wednesday, August 21.
Marchese will provide background and historical context about the music that young musicians will be learning in the School’s themed “Led Zeppelin vs. Guns N’ Roses: Battle of the Decades” camps, which will be held during the weeks of August 12 and August 19.
“We’re honored to welcome a music journalist of David’s stature to our camps,” says Matt Sandoski, owner of School of Rock Montclair. “Our campers will benefit by learning little known facts, stories, and history about GNR and Zep, and David is sure to get a kick out of the energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm of our young musicians”.
