Montclair Manor Price Tag Cut by Half-Million

A former Montclair Patch Property of the Week is back on the market with a half-million dollar lower price tag of $3.7 million.

The 1928 English Manor on Lloyd Road with 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 6 fireplaces and a 3,000-bottle wine cellar was listed by Keller Williams Suburban Realty Friday. 

The distinguished home sits on a 1.7-acre property which includes an outdoor pool, patio and bar with magnificent views of the New York City skyline. 

The home has been on and off the market for more than three years.

It was listed for $4.2 million in May by Stanton Company and was reduced to $3.9 million in August where it stayed until it was taken off the market in November.

In July 2010, the home was on the market for $4.2 million, dropping to $3,900,500 in Feb. 2011, where it sat until the listing was removed in Oct. 2011.

The home last sold for $1.2 million in November 1986.
