Drums of Thunder to Play Halftime at Montclair State Football Game

The elite drum corps Drums of Thunder from Hillside Elementary School in Montclair wows crowds wherever they perform, from NBA and NFL halftime shows to other high-profile events.

On Saturday, Oct. 12, you can catch the Drums of Thunder locally during the halftime show at Montclair State University's Red Hawks vs. the Cortland University Red Dragons football game at 2 p.m.

The corps consists of 33 fourth and fifth graders under the artistic direction of Louis D'Amico.

Last weekend, they performed in front of a sold-out crowd at Fordham University's Family Day football game, where fans were reportedly standing, cheering and wanting more.      

The group will travel to Philadelphia on Wednesday, Oct. 30 for a halftime performance during the Philadelphia 76ers vs. Miami Heat basketball game.
