Holiday Home Tour to Raise Money for Montclair Schools, Wednesday

The Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence will hold a day-long fundraiser Wednesday which includes breakfast, a tour of local homes and a cocktail party!

 

The Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence will hold its day-long Home for the Holidays event this Wednesday to raise funds for township schools. 

From 9 to 10:30 a.m., there will a breakfast featuring Mike Carrino, winner of Food Network’s "Chopped" and Chef/Proprietor of Pig & Prince Restaurant. In addition, New Jersey Monthly’s style editor Susan Brierly will be on hand to spotlight seasonal gifts.

Then from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can tour of some of Montclair’s most beautiful homes which will be dressed up in their holiday finest. There will also be a cornucopia of tastings from some of Montclair’s local bakeries and eateries.  

The event will extend into the evening with a VIP cocktail party from 7 to 10 p.m. at one of the regaled holiday homes.

Proceeds from the Home for the Holidays tour will fund grants and initiatives that benefit local students.  

Prices are as follows:  

  • Tickets for breakfast and home tour: $75.
  • Home tour only: $35 in advance, $40 the day of
  • Breakfast, tour and cocktail party: $250

Tickets will be available on the day of the event at the Commonwealth Club, 25 Northview Ave., starting at 9 a.m.
