Montclair High Students Perform 'In the Heights' This Weekend

School of Visual and Performing Arts will present Tony-award winning musical Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.

Montclair High's School of Visual and Performing Arts, directed by Brenda Pepper, presents "In the Heights" this weekend.

The Tony-award winning Broadway musical is about family, love and belonging.

Created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the musical will showcase the rap, vocal and hip-hop talents of Montclair High actors. The production was designed by the student tech crew, under the direction of Ken Cleerdin, and the music will be performed by student musicians, under the direction of Ken Horn.

Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. at Montclair High's The Little Theatre.
