It was an “unspeakably beautiful afternoon,” in Montclair on June 23 as roughly 500 students walked across the amphitheater and received their diplomas.
CBS News Journalist and Class of 2014 parent Jim Axelrod excited the crowd with his commencement address.
Class of 2014 President Audrey Hertzberg delivered an elegant speech as she told of all the successes the Class of 2014 has enjoyed this past year. From state championships to volunteer hours, the Class of 2014 has “made strides.”
“Look forward to a call from me every five years,” said Hertzberg, foreseeing many, many class reunions.
Hertzberg ended her speech saying, “It was a privilege and a pleasure to serve the unstoppable class of 2014, thank you.”
The ceremony ended with a reception on MHS’ front lawn, as graduates, parents, friends and family gathered together to take photographs and sign yearbooks. Please visit the Montclair Patch facebook page to view more photos of the graduates, and feel free to send photos of you and your graduate to email@example.com!
