Get Your October Yankee Fix With a Trip to See the 'Bronx Bombers'

Show centers around Montclair resident and baseball legend Yogi Berra.

Missing Yankee baseball this October?

The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center has a solution. The museum is hosting a special bus tour to see the new play Bronx Bombers about the Yankees on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

From the producers of the hit Broadway show, Lombardi, the play focusses on how baseball's most storied franchise has continuously triumphed despite having to deal with some of the most tempestuous personalities in the history of the game.

The eight-Yankee cast includes Ruth, DiMaggio, Jeter and the central character, living legend Yogi Berra.

Berra is portrayed by Richard Topol, and the only woman in the play is Carmen Berra, played by actress Wendy Makkena.

Tickets are $125 per person, $110 for members, and include round-trip bus transportation, admission to the 7 p.m. show and light box dinner on the bus, which departs at 4 p.m. from the museum.

To order, call 973-655-2378.

Bronx Bombers is the third play in a sports series for stage commissioned by the Kirmser/Ponturo Group.
