Mets Legend Mookie Wilson Speaking in Montclair

Wilson will sign copies of his new book, 'Mookie: Life, Baseball and the '86 Mets.'

Mookie Wilson, one of the most beloved players in Mets history, will be at the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center in Montclair on Monday, May 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. for a discussion and signing of his new book, "Mookie: Life, Baseball and the '86 Mets."

Every true Mets fan will remember Wilson for his epic October 1986 at-bat, perhaps you may have heard it resulted in a little dribbler behind the bag.

But he will also be remembered for his legendary hustle, an all-time good guy and class act on a Mets team that boasted outsize personalities. He is currently a team ambassador for the Mets and a Christian minister.
