“This event is a culmination of a week’s worth of activities as part of Push To Walk’s “Summer Boot Camp” as they help individuals rehabilitate from spinal injuries,” said Teodoro. “Sled hockey is a sport that is played primarily by individuals with disabilities where players sit on a sled equipped with two skates at the bottom and use two sticks with ice picks at the bottom to propel themselves along the ice.”
