What is The KIKA Method tm of Assisted Stretching?

"Imagine lying on a mat and having someone gently stretch out your entire body.  We do all of the work for you."

The KIKA Method™ of assisted stretching was born as a result of my late start as a professional dancer.  I was 13 years old with tight muscles and passionate about becoming a professional dancer.  I had to develop a way to become as flexible as my competition.  I erased thoughts of not being good enough from my mind and decided to work towards my goal of becoming a flexible dancer.  I developed a series of full body stretch routines and consistently worked on increasing my range of motion.        The main element of The KIKA Method™of assisted stretching was born.  It's never too late to create changes in the body.

I became flexible.  I trained hard and stretched everyday.  As a result, my flexibility increased.  I was able to put my body in new positions , without pain or tension.  It was possible to teach my body how to be free and move fluidly.   With this new found understanding, I begin to train my mind how to be optimistic and also how to expect improvement.  Could it be possible to teach others how to be free using the same method I used? The answer was YES!

A leap of faith and a series of events led me to offer KIKA Method ™ sessions to the public.  In 2011, we officially opened our doors to the public and  continue to educate clients on the power of stretching.  We follow each clients lead and do not force movement to happen.  By allowing our clients bodies to lead us, the client is able to stretch farther without hurting themselves.  Each session is customized to suite the individual persons needs.  We offer KIKA Method™ group stretch classes at facilities, on-site corporate stretch programs, 1 on 1 stretch sessions and much more.

There are three key elements that make up The KIKA Method™ of assisted stretching. Those three elements are music, breath, and positive thinking.  Stretch Coaches at Power Stretch Studios incorporate these three elements to ensure an experience that releases tension from the mind, body, and soul.  At Power Stretch Studios, we stretch various types of people.  From individuals suffering from chronic disease, to professional athletes, we are able to increase anyones range of motion.
