Parents Keep on Rockin' in Montclair

Parents Who Rock Backyard Family Event benefits Sandra Coke Fund.

More than 20 bands performed in Montclair Saturday in the annual Parents Who Rock Backyard Family Event.

Donations were collected at this year's concert for the Sandra Coke Fund. 

Coke, a federal criminal defense investigator in California, and sister of Montclair Board of Education member Tanya Coke, was found dead last month after being missing for several days.

The Sandra Coke Fund was established by her friends and family to help care for and pay for her teenage daughter's education. 

Saturday's event included kids yoga with Jacquie Ruderman and face painting donated by Fancy Faces and Places.

Parents Who Rock is a Montclair-based non-profit made up of musicians and other volunteers who hold concerts to raise money for various needs in the community.
