Julianne Moore Visits Library, Studio Montclair Exhibit, Health Screenings

The Montclair Town Council will hold a conference meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The town's health department will conduct a Thyroid Cancer and Carotid Artery Screening, on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Montclair Municipal Building, 205 Claremont Ave. Cost is $30. Appointment required. A complete blood profile screening is available for $36 on Friday. Appointments are also required.
Gabrielle Glaser, author of "Her Best-Kept Secret," will be at Watchung Booksellers on Wednesday, at 7 p.m.
Actress/author Julianne Moore will read from her new book, "My Mom Is a Foreigner, But Not to Me," at the Montclair Public Library on Friday, at 4 p.m. The event is full, but you can sign up for the waiting list by contacting Watchung Booksellers at or 973-744-7177 or info@watchungbooksellers.com.
