Montclair Art Walk, Columbus Day Closings, Trip to 'Bronx Bombers'

Montclair municipal offices will be closed on Monday for Columbus Day. Refuse/recycling collection, evening shuttle and senior bus services are suspended.

Adult School of Montclair will hold a two-week session on planning for your child or grandchild's college education on Mondays, Oct. 14 and 21, at 100 Chestnut St., from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Cost is $35. 

The United Way Family Success Center continues its Free Computer Workshops in Montclair on Tuesday at 60 South Fullerton Ave., at 10 a.m.

The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center is hosting a bus trip to New York City to see the play Bronx Bombers

Brother to Brother Mentoring Program begins its seventh year with an Open House Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The volunteer group will celebrate its new location and welcome any students along with their parents/caregivers who are interested in participating in the program at 11 Pine St., Montclair.

Amanti Vino in Montclair will hold Cru Vs. Brew: What Tastes Better With Food?, with food by CulinAriane paired with wine and beer selections. The battle of the libations will take place at the Women's Club of Upper Montclair on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $250.

Montclair Center will hold its bi-annual A Little Night Art on Friday, from 6 to 9 p.m. The free self-guided Montclair Art Walk Features Museum and Gallery Tours.

Essex County will hold a Computer and Electronics Collection on Saturday in Cedar Grove.
