New Montclair Run, Iris Sale, Jackals Games This Week

You have a little more than a month to train! The Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE) and the Montclair High School — School Action Team are co-hosting the first annual Mountie Pride Fun Run on Sunday, Sept. 22 at Woodman Field. 

Montclair pools will open earlier and close earlier starting Monday due to decreased daylight. 

The New Jersey Jackals are home Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week for a three-game series against the Quebec Nationales. The Youth Baseball/Softball Coach of the Year will be named Wednesday.

Historic iris rhizomes from the Presby Memorial Iris Gardens are available for sale online at www.etsy.com/shop/PresbyIris. Each week all summer long, new iris varieties will be added to the Etsy shop. August 23 and 24 are rhizome pick up days for those who pre-ordered unidentified rhizome “grab bags” during Bloom Season or wish to purchase “grab bags.”
