CentroVerde Developers Ask for Taller Building, Schools Hold 'Family Night'

What's happening in Montclair this week and what stories Patch plans to cover.

CentroVerde developers are asking the Montclair Planning Board to approve an additional two stories in exchange for a park, a request that could come to a vote Monday. The board meets in the Municipal Building, 205 Claremont Ave., at 7:30 p.m.

Honest Tea co-founder Seth Goldman will speak at Montclair State on Tuesday, at 7 p.m. Event is free, but advance registration is required. Register at www.MSUbizevents.com.

The Montclair Township Council convenes Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Township of Montclair will hold two flu shot clinics on Wednesday, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.

Montclair Public Schools will have their third annual Family Night Wednesday. There will be no after-school events or activities, and teachers will not assign homework, so that families may have a night “off” to spend time together.

Correction: This post previously listed an event with Reggie Jackson at the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center which was listed on our calendar for Tuesday. Patch has learned that the book signing has been postponed and a new date is yet to be determined.
