Montclair Art Museum's 100th Birthday Party, Community Pre-K Tours This Week

The Montclair Community Pre-K — accepting all families no matter their ability to pay — will hold tours all week at 10 a.m. An evening tour is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday. Details here.

Live YES Network's Yankees Hot Stove will be recorded live from the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center on the campus of Montclair State University Monday at 6:30 p.m. Panelists Bob Lorenz, Jack Curry, Meredith Marakovits and John Flaherty will discuss all things Yankees. 

Mireille Guiliano, author of the New York Times best-seller French Women Don’t Get Fat will reveal the most-guarded French secrets to aging at Van Vleck House & Gardens on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Montclair Art Museum will throw themselves a Centennial Birthday Party on Wednesday, from 6 to 9 p.m. The celebration will include an opening reception for "100 Works for 100 Years," live performances, dessert by the Cake Boss and more.

A free screening of "Gideon's Army" by Montclair's own Dawn Porter will take place Friday at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair. The award-wining film follows the personal stories of three young public defenders who struggle against long hours, low pay and staggering caseloads.

Join S.O.F.I.A. Women's Empowerment Presentation geared toward women. The workshop will be facilitated by Selina D. Carter, Founder and Executive Director of SOE Leadership – Guidance, Inc., Saturday, at 10 a.m., at 11 Pine St. Montclair.

The Studio Players run of Agatha Christie's Black Coffee continues this weekend.
