Great Work HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

*

I have been a customer for about 4 years..

Over Walter is a nice guy, but I'm afraid to admit it, quality of work is degrading.. KOS Motorcars is a great place to get oil changes and maybe change your brake pads, but that's about it. Once they open up your car, its problem after problem.

I had to go for the same 3 issues with my car 3 times each (9 times), and they are still the same as it was when I came in the 1st time.

Granted, he didn't change me the other times I came in, only the 1st time ~ but even though, the initial issue persists.

I still have all the same problems, and/or worse from they "short cuts" the mechanics made. (ex. bending my sub-frame to fit my down pipe in ~ told me it was OEM, but apparently it wasn't). Also, seems like he dropped my CAT and destroyed my O2 sensor (codes came up that were never there) - still have those codes.

Snapping when I turn, he replaced both front axels, it still snapped, then after a few days, the CV boot ripped, he replaced it under "warranty" but the snapping still persists.

Timing belt, belt is on right, but alternator squeaks now, had to go back because the new thermostat he put it was stuck open. after that, coolant broke down my coolant flange (assuming distilled water wasn't used ~ no big deal, I replaced it myself but had to buy new coolant too and do a flush) Alternator still squeaks.

Basically, just take your $3000 to the dealer, get it fixed ONCE the right way

Awesome place. Walter Kos is a scholar and a gentleman. Honest, Quality work, they know what they are doing, very fair prices. They showed me what was wrong, saved all the old parts, keep me posted along the way, and discussed options/pros/cons so I could make a decision what to do and keep it within my budget. It's the way you'd like to be treated by all shops. Definitely recommend.
