Family and friends of Deshon Johnson, a college student hit by a NJ Transit bus, held a protest demanding answers at the Bloomfield intersection where he was killed.
Claiming negligence by officials in the death of Montclair student Deshon Johnson, family and friends will protest at 10:00 am August 15 in Bloomfield, at the Broad and Bay intersection where Johnson was killed.
Deshon Johnson, 22, of Montclair, was fatally struck by a bus yesterday in Bloomfield.
A man was struck and killed by an NJ Transit bus after trying to chase it down on Bay Avenue near Broad Street in Bloomfield, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s office.
Eyewitness pursued driver of hit-and-run car through Bloomfield and East Orange Thursday night.
