Garden State Equality has 66,000 "core" members, making it the largest advocacy organization in New Jersey. These core members are those who have either donated in the past 12 months or taken two actions for equality in the past six months.

The group has a legislative office in Trenton and other offices in Asbury Park and Collingswood. The Montclair office acts as the statewide headquarters.
