Assemblyman Giblin Honored by One Hundred Club
This is the fourth year the club has given its Chief's Award for Community Service.
Assemblyman Thomas Giblin (D-Montclair) was honored at the One Hundred Club of Montclair’s 47th annual dinner on Wednesday night. Giblin, an assemblyman since 2005, was presented with the Chief’s Award for Community Service for what club President Raymond Connell said was a lifelong achievement. “I’m very flattered that I received this recognition,” said Giblin before the event yesterday. “I known many of the police officers and hierarchy in both departments over the years, and to be singled out is a great personal recognition.” The annaul dinner was held at the Montclair Golf Club, and drew more than 100 members and guests -- including council members and Mayor Robert Jackson.
