Adopt These Montclair Kitties: Dharma and Karma

The Montclair Township Animal Shelter has a plethora of dogs and cats ready for adoption.

These pretty kitties are looking to be adopted as a pair.  Seven-month-old Dharma and Karma were dropped off at the Montclair Township Animal Shelter's doorstep a few months ago. These rambunctious cats are sisters (Karma has the darker face), love to play with one another and, of course, always come running when treats are being handed out.  The cats are domestic short-haired cats and are colored tortoiseshell. Both are friendly with other cats and litter-box trained.  Dharma and Karma are spayed and vaccinated. Adopt This Montclair Dog: Snaggle

The Montclair Township Animal Shelter has a plethora of dogs and cats ready for adoption.

This playful poodle could use some more space to run around in.  Snaggle is an 8-year-old poodle mix up for adoption from the Montclair Animal Shelter. He is an energetic, small, 20-pound dog that loves to play with toys, and is friendly with children and other dogs.  Snaggle was rescued by the Animal Shelter and has made a full recovery from when he was found. Picked up as a stray, Snaggle had matted hair and a progressed case of dental disease caused possibly by trauma to his face. But a trip the emergency room and a haircut have given Snaggle a new lease on life — and a new name! As Snaggle's hair continues to grow back, it will be curly and apricot in color. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. The adoption fee is $150. Stop by…

Adopt This Montclair Pup: Stone

The Montclair Township Animal Shelter has a plethora of dogs and cats ready for adoption.

Stone is waiting to find a new home.  At about 2 years old, this dog is still a puppy and he has the energy to prove it. He is ready for adoption now at the Montclair Township Animal Shelter. Stone came to the shelter as a stray and is probably a purebred red nosed pit bull. He is super sweet and friendly with other dogs, however he has a tendency to chase smaller animals such as cats, squirrels and the like. This pup loves to play and go on walks, too. Stone does have allergies and requires Benadryl everyday, but he takes it easily with his food. He would be a good family dog or a companion for someone who enjoys going on hikes or runs.    Stone is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and negative for heart worm and lime disease. The …

Adopt This Pup: Mazzi the English Bulldog

The Montclair Township Animal Shelter has a plethora of dogs and cats ready for adoption.

This bulldog needs a home to call all her own.  Mazzi is a three-year-old English bulldog who was recently surrendered to the Montclair Township Animal Shelter. She is docile, stocky with brown and white fur, and loves to have her butt scratched.  This bulldog gets a little anxious around other dogs and loud noises, so keep this in mind if you are thinking of adopting her. While Mazzi is loving, she will need some time to break out of her shell and get to know you.  The shelter is looking to give Mazzi away to an all-adult home or a home with older children.  Mazzi also is spayed, is up to date on all her shots and has been microchipped. The adoption fee is $150.   Stop by the animal shelter now to see Mazzi or the plethora of other dogs…
