The following letter to the editor was written by Livingston resident Mark Dunec. A few weeks ago, I wrote to express frustration with Congress’s failure to enact common sense gun control measures to prevent the senseless violence that plagues our nation. I particularly singled out Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen for once again failing to represent this District. Since that time, the Senate failed to pass a simple background check law and instead moved on to other business.
