Charmed Beading Stuido is featured in the latest installment of "Inside Montclair." Wayne Robbins recently stopped by the beading studio, located at 377 Bloomfield Ave., to welcome the owners and take a look at the store. The business opened at the start of February. Owners Monick David, a resident of Montcliar for more than 20 years, and Kumaire Persaud are two moms who said they wanted to "create a space where we could have people come and spark and ignite their creativity." David and Persaud make a variety of different necklaces, bracelets and earrings for you to purchase, or you can create your own.

A flurry of new businesses set up shop in Montclair before and after the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve. The next time you are walking up or down Bloomfield Avenue, check out some of these new storefronts! This trendy cafe opened up at the end of December and is tucked away just off of Bloomfield Avenue near Church Street. With chairs, tables and couches, this cafe serves up Mediterranean salads and sandwiches, paninis, smoothies, coffee, tea and pastries. There is also free Wifi. This coffee house reopened on Jan. 5 after shutting its doors months ago. This cafe has coffee, tea, a plethora of homemade pastries and muffins, and serves lunch and breakfast.
