I spend my weekdays holed up in a third floor office, writing about women's health and fitness for national magazines, including More, Ladies' Home Journal, Real Simple, Family Circle, Health, and Martha Stewart Whole Living. A former travel editor at Bride's and Child magazines, and a one-time seasonal ranger at Yellowstone National Park, I am passionate about making life an adventure, even if it means doing so in the safe New Jersey suburbs.  My blog, www.relish-this.blogspot.com, is a once-monthly opportunity for me share ideas about how to go about doing this--whether it involves loading up the bikes and cycling down Manhattan's West Side Greenway or baking up the best coffee cake you'll ever sink your teeth into.  By blogging on Patch, I hope to share what I've learned in life and at work about local outdoor adventures, high fat baking and family health with other Montclair residents. I am married to Paul Freundlich and have two sons, Ben and Noah, who both attend Montclair public schools. I can often be spotted at Edgemont Park and at Mills Reservation walking my beloved chocolate standard poodle, Ringo.
