Montclair Food and Wine Festival Returns for Seconds

The second annual Montclair Food and Wine Festival will once again team up the area's top chefs to create the ultimate meal.

The two-day festival includes two main events, a Grand Tasting and a Gala Dinner on the weekend of June 1-2 at the Women’s Club of Montclair, 200 Cooper Ave. 

Area chefs will create a course each for the Gala Dinner on June 2, from 5 to 10 p.m. This year's line-up includes Michael Carrino, Pig & Prince Gastrolounge in Montclair; Francesco Palmieri, The Orange Squirrel in Bloomfield; Ryan Depersio, Fascino in Montclair; Ariane Duarte, Culinariane in Montclair; Mitchell Altholz, Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange; and Zod Arifai, Blu in Montclair.

Wine pairings will be served by Amanti Vino in Montclair and coffee and chocolate will be courtesy of Java Love Coffee Roasters and The Chocolate Path.

Tickets for the dinner are $165 with entertainment by Jazz House Kids. 

The Grand Tasting will bring together more than 25 eateries from Montclair and the surrounding area on Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $110 and $120, with music by Jazz House Kids and 3rdValve Jazz.

Proceeds from the festival benefit St. Joseph's Children's Hospital at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Paterson and Partners for Health, a community foundation benefiting the Montclair area, as well as a culinary arts scholarship.
