25th Annual Community Kwanzaa Celebration

Montclair Public Library's annual community Kwanzaa celebration is now a quarter of a century strong! Join your friends and neighbors as we celebrate Kwanzaa with drums and dance! Enjoy exhilarating music and African dance by The Umoja Usaama Dance Company. Ms. Yewande Kelley-Johnson of African Global Arts, and author of Let's Celebrate Kwanzaa, opens the event with a ceremonial lighting of the Kwanzaa candles as she announces the seven principles of Kwanzaa. Face painting will be available for children courtesy of Claudia Gaskin of Claudia's Creation.

No registration required. All ages welcome.

African Market opens at 1:00 p.m.
