Watchung Booksellers Event - "Tell a Story, Hear a Story: An Evening of Storytelling" [RSVP Req'd]
Please join us at Watchung Booksellers for this exciting and unique evening of good old fashioned storytelling... for adults!
A good story gives us ways to laugh, empathize and relate to a slice of life that may feel familiar but is told from an unusual perspective. A five-minute story challenges the teller further to focus on the "pitch" of an idea that provides that "Aha!" moment. In this MOTH-inspired evening, our hosts Laurel Bernstein and Ruth Rothbart-Mayer ask participants to take that challenge by sharing an off-the-cuff narrative (no notes, folks!) about "A True Story About a First Time."
